Okay, Rick is the one on the right.
As a young man, Rick quickly came to the startling realization
that he had absolutely no marketable skills to help him
successfully navigate his way in the modern world.
How would he survive, he wondered? What would he do?
Rick pondered the situation long and hard.
One night it hit him - songwriting!
How hard could it be, he reasoned, to write a song and get it to a
major recording artist, who would then record it, release it, and have
an international hit with it? It sounded simple enough. And from that
point on, Rick thought, wouldn't it just be a matter of waiting for
the royalty check to arrive?
The plan was so obvious Rick only wondered why it hadn't
occurred to him before. He chuckled to himself. Well, Rick thought,
he couldn't fault himself. After all, probably no one else had ever
thought of it, either. And so, satisfied that he was armed with a
sound plan of action, Rick bought a guitar and set off to make his fortune.
